Details
- The mofawtar 5 subscribers are entitled to obtain the devices through the plan support system where the mofawtar 5 Plan grants them a subsidy for smart devices as follows:
a- 2400 SAR subsidy in addition to 12-month device contract.
b- 3600 SAR subsidy in addition to 18-month device contract.
c- 4800 SAR subsidy in addition to 24-month device contract.
- In case of the mofawtar 5 subscriber wishes to downgrade his/her current plan, the device contract must be cancelled first and the remaining amount against the device’s value shall be paid in full including VAT.
- In case of the subscriber wishes to cancel the device contract with mofawtar 5 Plan, the remaining amount against the device’s value shall be paid as follows
a- The subsidy granted to the subscriber divided on the number of months of the main contract term and then multiplied by the remaining number of months of the contract term. .
b- The VAT will be counted and added to the final amount. .
- Monthly Installment Program for Smartphones is available for customers who have paid a total of 7800 SAR and more during the previous fiscal year. This program is for mofawtar 2, mofawtar 3 and mofawtar 4 customers only. mofawtar basic and mofawtar 5 customers are not eligible for this program. The customer's mobile number must be established for a minimum of 6 months, and stc can allow some customers who do not meet the condition to obtain devices according to their policy and procedures at stc discretion. In addition, the customer should not had any bill incident for the past 12 months on all of the numbers registered under his\her ID.
- The amount of total installments is calculated for all mobile numbers registered under the customer’s name during the previous fiscal year after requesting a smartphone through the Monthly Installment Program. The amount shall count to 7800 SAR minimum. The customer may subscribe later to one of the device’s plans (total amount of paid bills for mobile numbers registered under the customer’s name during the past 12 months prior to his/her request to subscribe to smart-devices monthly installment program).
- mofawtar 4 subscribers may avail any of the installment program for smart devices on contracts for 12, 18 or 24 months
- mofawtar 3 subscribers may avail one of the 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 or 150 installment programs only on contracts for 12, 18 or 24 months.
- In case a mofawtar 3 subscriber desires to avail 200 or 250 installment programs, the subscriber must upgrade to mofawtar 4
- mofawtar 2 subscribers may avail one of the 25, 50, 75 or 100 installment programs only on contracts for 12, 18 or 24 months.
- In case a mofawtar 2 subscriber desires to avail 125 or 150 installment programs, the subscriber must upgrade to mofawtar 3 or if desires to avail 200 or 250 installment programs, the subscriber must upgrade to mofawtar 4.
- If the subscriber wishes to cancel a Devices Monthly Installment Program contract, he/she shall pay only the remaining installments against the device’s value including VAT.
- If the device amount was paid in full before the end of the contract term (regardless of the total value of the cell selected by the subscriber), the remaining installments remained shall not be calculated (as the value thereof is zero).
Example: a subscriber joins the 150 Installment Program with a 24-month contract and choses a device worth 3450 SAR (VAT included); in this case the subscriber pays SR 172.50 (VAT included) as monthly installments against the device for 20 months only as the total value of the device is realized on 20 months ( 172.50 SAR x 20 months = 3450 SAR
- If the device value is different than the total value of the selected cell, the device value only will be recovered from the subscriber.
Example: a subscriber joins the 50 Installment Program with a 24-month contract and choses a device worth 1350 SAR (VAT included); in this case the subscriber pays SR 57.50 (VAT included) as monthly installments against the device for 23 months, then on the last month the subscriber will be billed only the remaining value of the device ( 27.50 SAR).
- A subscriber on Devices Monthly Installment Program may upgrade his/her postpaid plan during the contract term to a higher plan, and may as well request downgrading to his/her original plan. However, the subscriber may not downgrade to a postpaid plan lower than the plan activated when joining the Devices Monthly Installment Program contract unless the current contract expires or the device value is fulfilled.
