These devices are signal boosters inside the building, and good coverage is required outside the building. The first device is placed in a place with good coverage (next to a building window) and the other inside the building in an area with weak or no coverage to strengthen the signal.
1- Locate the Donor Antenna: Use your phone to find the window with the best cellular signal, then install the donor antenna on the window by removing the four adhesive covers and sticking them to the window glass.
2- Locate the Base Unit: Choosing the ideal location for the base unit is essential to ensuring reliable coverage. The base unit should be isolated from the donor antenna, as a larger separation provides the best performance.
3- Ensure the Nextivity logo is on the front of the base unit, as this is the area requiring coverage and is far from the donor antenna.
4- Connect the cables: Connect the cable from the donor antenna to the donor port on the base unit.
5- Connect the base unit to an electrical outlet: Connect the base unit to an electrical outlet using the included AC adapter. Then, connect the power cable clip to control the AC adapter cable. The LED on the front will light up and then turn green when the device is ready for use.
6- Configure using the app: You can use the app to review system performance and view signal strength in real time (app: CEL-FI WAVE).
The customer must commit to installing these devices at the location where they were ordered (the delivery address specified for the delivery of the devices) in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Communications Authority’s system.
