Service Description:

is a value added service that displays the caller’s Business name and Business phone number to the person receiving the call, helping identify who is calling before answering.

Business customer must subscribe to stc (Session initiation protocol) SIP service to use Caller Name Display Service.

Display Name:

Customer will register the legitimate business name for display.

Display Number:

Customer can select stc SIP service Extension number for display.

The display name and display number must be under the requestor business customer ownership.

General terms of the service:

  • The Caller Name Display Service profile include creation of display name under the customer ownership, The Caller Name Display Service profile can be linked with stc UAN/ Toll Free/ Short code and SIP extensions of the same customer.
  • The customer’s authorize person must approve the creation of Caller Name Display Service profile over the SMS.
  • The stc business customer must provide approved and attested document showing the proof the business name.
  • The display name availability is based on first come first serve basis.
  • The display name should not exceed 25 letters and available in English & Arabic languages. The display name can be Alphanumeric.
  • The customer can modify and delete the Caller Name Display Service profile.
  • The customer can modify and delete the number linkages.
  • The customer subscribe more than one Caller Name Display Service profile under the same ownership.
  • The customer can choose without contract or sign 1, 2, 3 years contract.

What is the pre-requisite to use the Caller Name Display Service?

The customer must subscribe to the stc SIP  service.

It is allowed to link the Caller Name Display Service profile to the SIP circuit which is under the ownership of customer’s business partner?

Yes, it is allowed. The approval document must be required from both CNAP profile owner and SIP circuit owner. Both entities will also approve this linkage through OTP.

3.

How many characters are available to display the name in Caller Name Display Service service?

The maximum allowed letters are 25.

4.

It is allowed to display alphanumeric name to the receiver?

Yes.

5.

It is allowed to use special character in the display name?

Yes.

6.

What happen to Caller Name Display Service incase SIP circuit which is linked to Caller Name Display Service profile require change of address OR change of technology OR change of ownership?

It is required to disconnect Caller Name Display Service linkages before performing the change of address OR change of technology OR change of ownership.

What are the contract options to subscribe Caller Name Display Service service?

The customer can subscribe the service without contractual commitment and opt for 12, 24, 36 months contract.

8.

Any penalties are applied incase of contract termination before completion of contract term?

Yes, penalties are applicable incase customer terminate the contract without completing the term.

9.

it is allowed to link Caller Name Display Service profile with landline voice and fixed broadband numbers?

No, currently this feature is not available.

10.

Can customer subscribe to the Caller Name Display Service service in addition to the display virtual number service?

Yes.

11.

Is there any pre requisite to cancel the Caller Name Display Service profile?

Yes, if Caller Name Display Service profile has active number linkages the linkages should be deleted first before cancelling the Caller Name Display Service profile.

12.

What are the services require to display business name and special number (UAN, Toll Free, Short Number)?

Customer must subscribe to Caller Name Display Service and Display virtual service, both service prices shall be applicable.
