STC’s Terms and Conditions for Amazon Services 

 

Welcome to the terms and conditions (“Terms”) for Amazon subscriptions and memberships obtained through STC (“STC”, “we”, “our” or “us”). These Terms are between you and STC and govern our respective rights and obligations for Amazon subscriptions you have purchased as part of a bundle offer with your mobile plan, as an add-on to your existing mobile plan, or as a promotional offer where STC covers the cost of your subscription for a period of time. The subscription or membership offered may be for Amazon Prime, Prime Video, Amazon Music or other Amazon services.

Please note that you must have or open an Amazon account to use and sign-up for your Amazon subscription, and that your Amazon account and subscription are governed by agreements with Amazon, including Amazon’s Conditions of Use, the Amazon.com Privacy Notice, Amazon Video Terms of Use, Amazon Music Terms of Use, Amazon Photos Terms of Use, Kindle Store Terms of Use and others (“Amazon Terms”).

These Terms cover eligibility, activation, billing, cancellation and other elements regarding the Amazon subscriptions obtained through STC. STC is a promotional and billing partner of Amazon.  Amazon owns, operates and provides the Amazon services that are in your subscription. 

Eligibility

To be eligible for a free trial or a bundle, add-on or promotional offer for an Amazon service through STC, you must: (a) be a STC customer in good standing; and (b) subscribe or enter into a contract for any mobile plan (Prepaid or Postpaid). If you are an existing Amazon subscriber to the applicable Amazon service, or if you are a business customer, you are not eligible for these Amazon subscriptions through STC.

Activation

After you sign up for a free trial, bundle, add-on or promotional offer for an Amazon service through STC, we will send you an email or SMS text with a link to activate your subscription. You will have 30 days from the date your activation email or text is sent to you to activate the offer or promotion.  After 30 days, the activation link will expire.  The link will direct to sign up for your mobile plan with STC and accept the applicable terms and conditions for the plan.  The link will also redirect you to the Amazon website to login or set up your Amazon account.

Billing

Once you have subscribed to the Amazon service, your promo for the first (3) month(s) will be sponsored by STC if you received a promotional offer. You cannot use more than one (1) promo during any 12-month period. Amazon’s standard subscription rate is currently SAR 16 per month. If you wish to continue subscribing to the Amazon service after the 3 months promo, the standard Amazon subscription charges will apply. STC will charge you a monthly subscription fee of SAR 16 starting on the (4) month and every succeeding month thereafter for the Amazon Prime as part of your monthly bill unless and until you cancel your subscription to the Amazon service. 

If you received a bundle, add-on or promotional offer, Reseller will charge you a monthly subscription fee of SAR 16 for the Amazon Prime as part of your monthly bill unless and until you cancel your subscription to the Amazon service.  The usual STC payment terms will apply.  

 

Cancellations

Your Amazon subscription will continue until cancelled.  You may cancel your Amazon subscription anytime through mySTC app. Also, if you cancel your STC mobile plan, your Amazon subscription will automatically end.

Termination by Us

STC may revoke your Amazon subscription, at our sole discretion without notice to you, if we suspect any fraudulent activity, misuse of your subscription or violation of these terms or any applicable law by you.  No fee refund will be given in case of revocation.

Customer inquiries relating to your mobile plan performance or to billing or payment for Amazon services on your STC account should be directed to STC at 900

 

Other Terms and Conditions

The promotions including Amazon services are not redeemable, transferable or refundable for cash and cannot be exchanged.

 

Amazon subscriptions that include mobile apps, streaming content services, and any other services that require connection to the Internet use data. Data usage incurred from using content online on a device connected to our network will count toward your monthly mobile data allowance, unless otherwise provided in your offer or promotion.

 

STC reserves the right to change these Terms at any time without notice. If applicable, we’ll let you know if we do this by posting revised Terms on our website.
