Our governance model incorporates sustainability across the organization, providing comprehensive tools and risk management for ESG and climate considerations.
The stc Executive Management Sustainability Committee, chaired by the GCEO, reviews and approves annual sustainability reports, monitors progress and discusses key ESG topics.

Sustainability Management Committee
- Chaired by GCEO
- Reviews and approves strategic sustainability framework, initiatives, and the sustainability report that is in line with stc’s commitments
- Quarterly manages stewardship on sustainability performance
- Helps stc adopt sustainability practices to achieve stc’s sustainability ambitions
Authority Level
- Ultimate oversight rests with the Sustainability Management Committee, chaired by the GCEO.
- The GCEO briefs the Board Executive Committee (BEC) on key sustainability findings and the report on a quarterly basis, or as needed, to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy and vision
Sustainability general manager
- Sets strategic sustainability direction and focus areas, as well as reporting on Sustainability at stc

Leads the development of the Sustainability Report in alignment with stc’s strategic direction

Provides strategic recommendations to the GCEO and the Sustainability Management Committee

Sustainability general department team
- Supports business areas and Group functions in implementing stc’s sustainability ambition
- Coordinates and consolidates inputs for the Sustainability Report
- Supports Sustainability General Manager in development of report
- Provides performance insights and implementation updates to inform strategic actions and disclosure

- Assists integration of strategy and goals by supporting the sustainability team
- Implements strategies, tracks performance and engages with teams
- Provide operational-level data, case studies, and performance updates that inform the Sustainability Report.
