STC Strengthens its Partnership with LinkedIn to Benefit from its Global Marketing and Recruitment

Saudi Telecom Company (STC) signed a new agreement with LinkedIn, the largest professional network in the world. This agreement enhances an existing relationship between the two entities that aimed to strengthen institutional marketing and communication efforts. STC utilizes LinkedIn to increase social media followers and foster interaction with this audience, as well as direct traffic to the STC website.
Through this agreement, STC aims to strengthen its position as a desirable employment destination, identify exceptional talent for the company, and capitalize on LinkedIn’s marketing solutions to strengthen STC’s brand.
Over 8,500 of STC staff have joined LinkedIn, and STC’s LinkedIn page has over 61,000 followers.
At the signing of the agreement, Amjad Shacker, STC General Manager for Corporate Communication, commented, “Significant advances in the development of the digital world and exponential use of computers and smartphones has successfully increased and multiplied STC’s social media presence.”
Mr. Shacker praised the partnership with LinkedIn and its contribution to building a quality workforce for STC. He also expects that the enhanced marketing plan “will effectively reach a new segment of clients.”
