CMO Asia granted STC Asia’s Best Brand Award in the 4th 4th CMO Asia Awards for Asia Chief Marketing officers held on 31st July, 2013 in Singapore.
STC won this award because it had satisfied sharing standards that indicated the strength of the brand in the minds of consumers and the ability to consolidate management of the brand and the value of assets and optimize the brand market share.
The CMO Asia is dedicated to high level knowledge exchange through thought leadership and peer networking amongst decision makers across industry segments in Asia. Chief marketing officers awards is represented by 25 countries across Asia. The event was attended by about 200 Senior Leaders and decision makers from various countries.
It is worth mentioning that STC had achieved a growth in the value of its brand in 2013 to more than 12,400 million Saudi Riyals at a growth rate of 16% compared to 2012. It moved up by 35 positions in the ranking of the top 500 brands issued by Brand Finance ® - one of the most significant specialist consulting organizations in assessment of world brands that uses the criteria of company strength of consolidating the management of its brand and the value of its assets.
