  • Changing your Device Package:
    The customer can change the device package according to the following conditions:
    The device package can be changed for free and without the need to pay any fees. However, the monthly subscription fees as well as the free services included in the package will change according to the new package that the customer selected.
    The customer can change the device package by upgrading to another package.
    For example, if the customer has the Basic package, he or she can upgrade to the Extra or Premium package.Moreover, the customer can upgrade from Postpaid 100 to Postpaid 200 or Postpaid 400.
    The customer can upgrade the device package during the contract period.
    For example, a customer who is subscribed to the SR 99 package can upgrade to the SR149 or SR249 package.
    The customer must be in a category that is allowed to upgrade to this package.
    Switching between packages can only be carried out from a package of lower value to a package of higher value and not vice versa.
    For example, a customer cannot switch from the Extra package to the Basic package,or from Postpaid 400 to Postpaid 200 or Postpaid 100.
    The customer cannot switch from any of the Smart Device packages (99, 149, 249) to an iPhone package or the new postpaid packages (Postpaid 100 – Postpaid 200 – Postpaid 400)
    For example, a customer subscribed to the Basic package cannot switch to the 149 package or the Postpaid 200 package, but can choose between the Extra or Premium packages.
    The customer cannot switch from longer to shorter contract duration but can only change to a contract of an equal or longer duration.
    For example: it’s possible to change from a 12-month contract duration to contract duration of 12 or 18 months, however, The customer cannot change from an 18 to 12-month contract-duration.
    In case the customer wants to end the contract after changing to a new package, a cancelation fee will be charged according to the new package and that’s to applied with the iPhone packages (Basic – Extra – Premium) and other Smart Devices packages (99 – 149 – 249). In case of the new postpaid packages (Postpaid100 – Postpaid 200 – Postpaid 400) the fee will be charged according to the original package to which the customer is already subscribed.

    Changing your Device:
    The customer can change the device yet keep the same package or change it according to the following conditions:
    In case the customer is subscribed to one of the iPhone packages (Basic – Extra – Premium) or the other Smart Devices packages (99 – 149 – 249) then the previous contract will be terminated and a new one will be concluded. The customer must pay the remaining amount of the price of the old device according to the remaining months‫ ‬, which is actually cheaper than if the customer would cancel the contract completely. ‬‬
    For example: a customer that has an iPhone 5 device with the Extra package can change the device with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 with the SR 249 package or the iPhone 5S with the Premium package and keep the old device.
    In case the customer is subscribed to one of the new postpaid packages (postpaid100 – postpaid 200 – postpaid 400), then he can change his device by terminating the current contract. The customer must pay the discount amount remaining of the contract duration for the remaining months, and then choose a new device.
    Contract Cancelation Options:
    This option is only available with the iPhone packages (Basic – Extra – Premium) and other Smart Devices packages (99 – 149 – 249). The option is not valid for the new postpaid packages (Postpaid 100 – Postpaid 200 – Postpaid 400)
    When placing a contract on the system, the customer can choose to either continue using the package or cancel it immediately after the end of the contract duration. In both cases, the customer will be notified via SMS. During the contract duration, the customer can change one of the options, according to his needs, by sending an SMS to 902 as follows:
    Send 2355 to change the option from canceling the contract to “Cancel the package immediately after the contract duration ends”.
    Send 2356 to change the option from canceling the contract to “Continue to use the package after the contract duration ends”

    Contract Cancelation:
    If the customer desires to cancel the contract, he must pay the remaining amount of the device price according to the device package in the following manner:
    For the Postpaid smart devices packages: the value of the discount given to the customer would be divided by the number of months of the original contract term. The result will be multiplied by the number of remaining months.
    For the iPhone packages (Basic – Extra – Premium) either the original value of the device which the customer paid on buying it or the sum of the monthly fees for the remaining months of the contract will be calculated, whichever is lesser.
    For the other packages: The device original value (which the customer paid on buying it) with reducing the amount paid on concluding the contract will be calculated. The result will be divided by the number of months of the original contract then the value will be multiplied by the number of remaining months.
    In case the customer had paid the device full price on concluding the contract, the desired package being not available for him, and he chooses to cancel the contract then the remaining amount of discount won’t be added to his account – as per the contract conditions.
    For The iPhone packages (Basic – Extra – Premium) and the other Smart Devices packages (99 – 149 – 249), the value of the monthly fee will be covered by the minimum limit of Zero and Zero plus packages

    Examples:
    Example 1: If the customer is already subscribed to the Jawal Zero package for SR175 per month and also to a Smart Device package for SR149 per month; then according to the new system, the SR149 Smart Device package price will be covered by the minimum limit of the Jawal Zero package. So the customer only has to pay SR175, which is the minimum charge of the Jawal Zero package. The customer must pay any additional costs in case of exceeding the minimum limit for Jawal Zero 175 package.

    Example 2: If the customer is already subscribed to the Jawal Zero Plus package for SR 350 and also to a Smart Device package for SR249 per month; then according to the new system, the Smart Device package price will be covered by the Jawal Zero Plus package monthly minimum limit. So the customer only has to pay SR350 leaving him with only SR101 to use. After these have been used up, any additional costs incurred by the customer will be charged according to the discounted rates of the Jawal Zero Plus package 350.

    Example 3: If the customer is already subscribed to the Jawal Zero package for SR175 and also to a Smart Device package for SR249 per month; then he has to pay the higher package price. So the SR175 will be covered by the Smart Device package price of SR249 per month; accordingly his minimum monthly payment would be SR249. If the customer exceeds the minimum limit, any additional costs incurred by him will be charged according to the tariffs of the Jawal Zero package for SR175 that he is subscribed to.
