A warranty against damages

It is a service provided exclusively to STC customers who recently subscribed to the smartphone postpaid bundles, to protect their mobile phone devices against defects and damages not covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

Terms and Conditions

1)All devices registered in STC’s Device Protection Program in will be fixed or replaced in case of any temporary malfunction and/or water damages, for a monthly subscription charged on the customer invoice.
2)In case the customer's device suffered one of the aforementioned damages, the customer shall pay 349 SR to the ”Device Protection” maintenance center.
3)In case the customer's device suffered one of the aforementioned damages, the customer shall pay 199 SR to the ”Device Protection Plus” maintenance center.
4)Device Protection/ Device Protection Plus Program does not cover additional accessories such as: accessories, software, and external accessories.
5)Device Protection” Program customers are entitled to: two repairs (2) or one device replacement (1) with a similar device throughout the contract period of for eighteen months (18).
6)Device Protection Plus” Program customers are entitled to: three repairs (3), or three device replacements (3)
with a similar device throughout the contract period of eighteen months (18).
7)Any device repairs or replacements are conducted at certified maintenance centers, and may take up to 48 hours, while other faults, like water damages, may take longer.
8)If the customer prefers to send their personal device to the maintenance center via the delivery service available to ”Device Protection Plus” customers only, the process my take up to 10 work days.
9)During repairs or replacement, STC (or any other third party authorized thereby, is not liable for any loss breach of privacy to the customer's information saved on the device.
10)If the customer desired to end the contract before the conclusion of the contract period, they must continue to pay the monthly subscription for the program until the contract expires, or pay the monthly fee multiplied by the number of months remaining on the contract as one sum.
