STC Group delegation concludes this Thursday its activities in the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. The delegation met with senior officials of world companies namely Huawei, Alcatel, Nokia and Siemens. It also held a number of mutual meetings with world communication and information technology organizations who visited the company site set on the occasion of the congress.
The delegation signed bilateral agreements with major world companies, held many meetings, and special agreements on the sidelines of the international exhibition. STC and Huawei were able to evolve the current 4G TE TDD network to 4G LTE – A netword which is characterized with unprecedented download speeds making it the fastest commercial 4G networks in the Middle East.
STC also announced that it has signed a new agreement with Samsung that enables STC customers to buy applications from Samsung Apps store by deducting from SAWA balance or through credit on the postpaid customer bill.
This feature aims at allowing users of Samsung devices another convenient payment method other than credit cards. This payment method allows the customers to purchase applications from Samsung Apps store that vary from news, recreation, games, religious and content applications.
