The meeting focused on briefing employees on the key functions of all departments and the objectives of the sector especially there was a number of new employees from inside and outside STC.

STC was involved in the activities of the sixth World Telecommunications Development Conference (WTDC-14) organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) every four years and attended by government and private communication and information technology officials across the world. Through a partnership with Saudi Telecom Company (STC), BT announced today it has made it easier and more cost effective for multinational companies in Saudi Arabia to connect to their international operations by launching a local Point of Presence (PoP) of its global Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) network. The new PoP will be operated by STC in conjunction with its national and regional MPLS network.

Recognising the need for optimum connectivity between businesses in the UAE and MENA region, du today announced a partnership with leading KSA operator Saudi Telecom to launch a new Point of Presence (PoP) in the UAE.
