Termination on Non-Geographic Numbers
How it works
STC terminates Free-phone, Information Service Provider and universal access numbers (UAN) on behalf of licensed national mobile and fixed-line operators in the KSA. For Free-phone services (800x), STC manages voice calls handed off by national licensed operators in the KSA and routes them to an STC Local Exchange for termination on STC's national access network.
STC also manages voice calls handed off by national licensed operators destined for 9200x UAN. Depending on the UAN holder's configuration, STC will translate the call to the appropriate PSTN number in its database for termination.
Non-Geographic Number Termination is part of STC's comprehensive suite of voice services for national mobile and fixed-line operators in the KSA. In addition to offering basic call services, STC ensures that every need needs is met for telecoms operators within the KSA. Through leveraging the STC voice network in the KSA, national carriers can offer their customers a more dynamic range of services and deliver end users Free-phone calling and UAN.
