This service from STC enables banks to offer their ATM services to their end users by using the GSM and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) networks.

    Mobile ATM allows banks to have a primary or a backup link for ATMs in case of any emergency in the existing landline connectivity.

  • About Mobile ATM
    Mobile ATM gives subscribed banks a competitive edge, as they will be able to offer their ATM services to their end users and thereby widen their coverage areas and sites.
    The connectivity between the bank’s ATM and central databases will be through the GPRS network and the bank’s Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network (IPVPN) circuit.
  • Mobile ATM Requirements

    Each bank must provide a Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) modem device supporting the following features:

    • TCP/IP
    • RIP Protocol
    • GPRS
The bank must provide their IPVPN circuit number that will be used in this service.
Each bank must ensure the installation of the used modem.
