Collect Call Service

 

With the Collect Call service from STC, the call will be charged to the receiver once he or she is notified and accepts to pay the charges.
New Features

  •  No settings or activation required
  •  You can call even when you don’t have credit
  •  Free and has no monthly subscription fees
  •  Available to all Jawal postpaid and prepaid customers (Sawa, Lana)
  •  Works only among STC customers and not with other operators
  •  Does not apply while roaming
  • A maximum of 10 numbers can be added to the acceptance list and a receiver will be automatically charged for calls from these numbers.
  •  A subscriber can add numbers to the acceptance list and delete or display them using simple commands.

Using the Service:

  •  A Jawal, Sawa, or Lana customer can easily make calls by pressing *199* followed with the mobile number to be called, then press # and YES or Call. For example, (*199*050532999#) and then press YES or Call.
  •  To add a specific number to the acceptance list, press *199*1* followed with the number to be added, then press # and Yes or Call. For example, (*199*1* 050532999#) and then press YES or Call.
  •  To cancel a specific number from the acceptance list, press *199*2* followed with the number to be cancelled, then press # and Yes or Call. For example, (*199*2* 050532999#) and then press YES or Call.
  • You can display the numbers in your acceptance list by pressing *199*3 followed with # and then YES or Call. For example, (*199*3#) and then press YES or Call.
  •  A Jawal, Sawa or Lana customer can accept to pay for call charges as follows: When receiving a call through the Collect Call service, the number will be displayed on your screen. When you answer, you will hear a voice message asking you to either accept the charges by pressing * or reject them by pressing #.
  •  If you receive a call from a number on your acceptance list, the caller’s number will be displayed on your screen and you will hear a voice message informing you that you’ll be immediately charged for the call.
  •  Jawal, Sawa, and Lana customers can choose the language they prefer as follows:
     Jawal customers: Send an SMS with 1 for Arabic or 2 for English to 800899.
     Sawa or Lana customers: For Arabic, send *140*1# and then press Call.
    For English, send *140*2# and then press Call.
