STC COMPLEMENTED ITS INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIVITY WITH TWO SATELLITE EARTH STATION COMPLEXES BASED IN JEDDAH AND RIYADH

 

Jeddah King Fahd Satellite City:

  • Jeddah’s King Fahd Satellite City is composed of seven ground stations .
  • Three ground stations, Jed-4, Jed-5 and Jed-11 are operated with Intelsat .
  • Two ground stations, Jed-8 and Jed-9, are operated with Arabsat .

 




 

 

Riyadh Dirab Complex:

  • Riyadh’s Dirab Complex is composed of seven ground stations .
  • Five ground stations are operated with Intelsat .
  • Riy-3 and Riy-6 in Ku-band .
  • Riy-7, Riy-8 and Riy-9 in C-band .
  • Two ground stations, Riy-2 and Riy-5, are operated with ARABSAT in C-band .
