You can send video messages, voice messages, as well as video files and text messages that are four times bigger, reaching 600 KB per message to any mobile number or electronic mail around the world through ALJAWAL network., you can also send and receive MMS while you’re abroad.
Rates per Message:
SR 0.55/MMS within ALJAWAL network or to e-mail (message size up to 600KB)
SR 0.65 per international message (message size up to 600KB)
Rate per message while roaming is subject to the other operator and the size of the message. Basis of calculation is similar to that of data or Internet while roaming.
SR 0.60/MMS out of Network (Mobily) (message size up to 600KB) .
Service Activation:
Send an SMS with 1000 to (902).
Call ALJAWAL Customer Care Center (902) and follow the instructions of the automatic answering system.
Activate service features of your mobile number through “STC Online".
Settings can be obtained through any of the following
Send an SMS with the word “MMS” to (2222) (you will receive two messages on your mobile, the first contains the password which is 1234, open the second, enter the password and save the settings)
Note: service is automatically activated for 3G, SAWA and LANA customers.
The MMS inbox enables you to view the MMS messages that were sent to your mobile in case you are not subscribed to the service or the service settings have not been entered on the mobile. and will remain available there for 10 days.
