Wavelength
Wavelength

Service Description
STC Wholesale offers long-distance DWDM wavelengths on all main inter-city networks. STC’s network consists of an extensive optical fiber, high-capacity backbone offering wavelengths with capacities of STM-16 and STM-64, based on DWDM technology, depending on availability in the rings.

Transmission occurs over high capacity optical fiber networks. Multiplexing capability can be provided, allowing the ability to connect lower speed signals (e.g. sending 2.5G signals over a 10G DWDM). STM-64 and STM-16 wavelengths will be offered on all STC DWDM rings, depending on ring availability.

STC Wholesale’s 2.5Gbps DWDM Network

Bandwidth

  • STC Wholesale offers STM-16 wavelengths on almost five major long distance fiber networks.
  • Each one of 2.5Gbps DWDM networks offers 16 wavelengths, each carrying a 2.5Gbit/s signal.
