International internet backbone service for ISPs

STC offers two types of International Internet connectivity, namely Filtered International Internet Bandwidth service and Direct Filtered International Internet Bandwidth service; both types are filtered in accordance to Saudi Arabia standards and both provide international website connectivity to the ISPs.

a) Filtered International Internet Backbone service

The Filtered Internet International Access Service provides filtered internet international bandwidth to ISPs and other entities that are approved by CITC for direct Internet access. It is provisioned between the ISPs and IGW.

b) Filtered Direct International Internet Backbone service

The Filtered Direct International Internet Service delivers access to Internet to ISPs and other entities that are ‎approved by CITC for direct Internet access. It is an end-to-end service that includes the International ‎Internet Access, Content Filtering and National Internet Backbone access.
