Service Description
STC provides several national and international voice services including: National Interconnection, Call Conveyance.
National Interconnection
Interconnection services are offered to fixed-line or mobile network operators in order to collect or terminate their traffic from or to other competing operators. In general, three major categories of traffic are distinguished, based on whether the operator is a supplier or recipient of traffic: traffic origination, traffic transit, traffic termination.
Call Conveyance
Call Conveyance services are offered to operators in order to collect or terminate their traffic from or to international operators. STC maintains direct relations with more than 80 operators. International traffic is routed through STC international gateways and international links, namely border fiber connections, submarine cables and satellite. International call conveyance consists of two services namely:
- International outgoing call conveyance
- International incoming call conveyance
